Child Safety

Ready Steady Go Kids is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children participating in our programs. This policy outlines our approach to safeguarding children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and best interests are at the forefront of all our activities.

Child safety is our priority

Our Commitment to Child Safety

At Ready Steady Go Kids, we:

·       Prioritise the safety, welfare, and well-being of every child involved in our programs.

·       Foster a culture that promotes respect, empowerment, inclusion and participation for all children.

·       Implement procedures and practices to protect children from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Code of Conduct for our Coaches

This Child Safe Code of Conduct outlines appropriate standards of behaviour by adults including Ready Steady Go Kids coaches towards children attending Ready Steady Go Kids programs. The National Office for Child Safety sets the benchmark for child safe practices, including those specific to coaching children’s sports.

Recognising and Reporting Child abuse

Whilst Ready Steady Go Kids might not meet the definition of a Mandatory Reporter, our organisation expects all staff (via their Franchisee) to formally report any concerns for the welfare of a child in their classes to the relevant body.
