Becoming a RSGK franchisee was the best decision I could have made when my kids were little. It’s provided meaningful, interesting and fun work that I’ve been able to tailor around school hours and terms. My own kids and I could spend the time before and after school together, and we took extended camping trips during every school holidays when the business took a break. Now my kids are older I am pivoting the business to provide more hours for myself and my staff, including school holiday hours. I have been a Ready Steady Go Kids Franchisee for 11 years and I love that it gives me the flexibility and freedom to juggle a work, life balance and still be able to be there for my 3 active boys. It allows me to be able to be at my sons sporting events after school, coach and train basketball teams, attend any after school events or travel for carnivals and tournaments that they participate in. Head Office provides helpful support particularly with the 'running a business' side. The network of Franchisees, are also a great source to bounce ideas off for activities and strategies to implement into our classes. It allows me to work as much or little as I want!

I have been involved with RSGK since 2011, when my own children attended classes. I bought my first franchise in 2015. Although it was quite overwhelming at the beginning, this has been the best business to own, especially while having a young family. RSGK has provided me with a good income and has also given me the flexibility of always being there for my family. Having the school holidays off has been a huge bonus for my family too as we like to travel. Being part of a great network means I have always been able to gain advice and assistance from the other franchisees and franchisors. I am not on court teaching anymore but have a great team of coaches which gives me even more freedom these days. I can’t believe I have been a RSGK franchise owner for almost been 10 years now. Time flies when you’re having fun!
