From Believing in Kids to Building a Community: Paul Zyntek's Ready Steady Go Kids Story
Paul Zyntek brings energy, heart, and genuine care to every class he runs. In his Armadale region, he is building more than a business. He is building confidence, connection, and community through Ready Steady Go Kids.
Paul’s journey started with something simple but powerful. Danie and Sherrie, our Franchisor team believed in him. After years working with children in roles across youth work, schools, and entertainment, he found a team that backed his potential and gave him the chance to build something of his own. That support still drives him today.
Before becoming a franchise owner, Paul worked as an RSGK Area Manager with a purpose of increasing the brand awareness to families in the south of Perth. In this role, Paul learned the program from the ground up. Moving into ownership was a natural next step. In 2025, he fitted out a shop front to create the Ready Steady Go Kids Gosnells purpose built venue, where he now runs classes six days a week with passion, high standards, and a strong focus on giving families a great experience.
At the heart of Paul’s approach is one simple goal. He wants every child to head to school with an 'I can do this' attitude. He knows those early years matter, not just for children but for parents too, and he sees every class as a chance to build confidence, growth, and belief.
That belief shows up in the moments that matter most. Paul remembers a mum who was in tears during class, overwhelmed by the challenges she was facing with her two and a half year old. He supported her in the moment and arranged for an Occupational Therapist to attend the next class, helping her access the guidance she needed. For Paul, that is what the program is really about. Supporting the whole family.
Another moment has stayed with him just as strongly. After a serious accident left one of his four year old participants badly burnt, Paul spent time on the phone supporting the child’s mother and refunded the rest of the term without hesitation. Three terms later, they returned. Paul says he will never forget the smile he shared with that little one when she walked back into the centre.
Paul also brings a strong sense of consistency and care to every class. Families know they are getting a coach who sees the child in front of him, reads the room well, and genuinely wants everyone to leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Danie O'Connor, our Franchisor sums it up perfectly. "It is rare to find someone that goes this far above and beyond for their families. Paul is not just the franchise owner, he is the fun role model for the kids in class and a true champion for their families. He has this sense of just knowing if a parent is struggling or has had a bad morning and he just makes that 45 min session turn the day around... for the child and parent. We knew we had hit the jackpot with Paul when he came on board as the Perth South Area Manager - people are drawn to Paul and he delivers an awesome class! I was extremely thrilled and proud when he took the next step to becoming a franchise owner!"
That kind of impact is a big part of why Paul has connected so strongly with families in Armadale. He brings fun, empathy, and leadership to the role, while never losing sight of why the work matters.
Owning a franchise has also changed Paul’s life outside work. The flexibility has allowed him to homeschool his own kids, while still doing meaningful work he loves. His Gosnells venue, complete with Ready Steady Go Kids coloured couches and walls, has become a fun space for local kids to come for classes. Through it all, one belief stays constant. Every child deserves a champion, and Paul works hard to be that person every day.
Paul’s story is a great example of what happens when the right support meets the right person. With the Head Office support team behind him, and a clear purpose in front of him, he is helping children and families in the Armadale region thrive.
