Perth’s Littlest Champions: Active Fun Across the West!
If your child has energy to burn before 8am, congratulations: you are raising a tiny athlete.
At Ready Steady Go Kids in Western Australia, that big preschool energy gets channelled into something brilliant. Our classes for children aged 1.5 to 6 are packed with movement, skill-building, and fun from the very first hello. Think running, jumping, balancing, kicking, throwing, catching and plenty of proud little “Look at me!” moments along the way.
And for parents wondering where to begin, there is a FREE TRIAL to get things rolling. It is a simple way to see the program in action, watch your child dive in, and find out just how much fun structured movement can be when it is done properly.
Everything is designed for early childhood development, with expert coaches, low coach-to-child ratios, and a non-competitive approach that keeps the focus where it should be: on participation, confidence, and having an absolute ball. That personalised attention makes a big difference, especially for little ones who are still warming up, finding their feet, or learning that listening to instructions can actually be part of the fun.
Program Curriculum and Sports Selection
Variety is the name of the game here. Actually, sport. Ten sports, to be exact.
Our program rotates through a whopping 10 different sports to keep little bodies moving and little minds switched on. That means toddlers and preschoolers get to explore Soccer, Basketball, Athletics, Tennis, T-ball, Hockey, Golf, Cricket, AFL, and Rugby in an age-appropriate, high-fun format.
The goal is not to turn your three year old into a sports commentator with strong opinions about footwork. The goal is to build fundamental movement skills in a way that feels exciting, achievable, and seriously fun. One week they are kicking goals. The next they are swinging, throwing, sprinting or learning how to move with more control and coordination. It is a full-body adventure with plenty of cheering built in.
A major focus of the program is gross motor development, which is the big stuff little kids need most: balance, coordination, body control, strength, and confidence in movement. In parent terms, that means all the building blocks that help with climbing, running, jumping, hopping, throwing, and generally tackling the world with a bit more control and a lot more confidence.
Operational Locations in the Perth Metropolitan Area
We are bringing the fun across Perth, making it easier for families to find a class without needing a full-scale expedition.
Ready Steady Go Kids classes are currently held in Bayswater, Currambine, Floreat, East Victoria Park, Subiaco, Padbury, Gosnells, and West Leederville. That means more chances to find a session that suits your schedule and gets your child into the action.
Better still, all classes are run indoors. Rain? No worries. Wind? Irrelevant. Surprise weather chaos? Not today. It is active fun in a comfortable indoor setting, which makes life easier for parents and keeps the movement going no matter what Perth decides to do.
If you are on the hunt for kids sports in Perth that feel organised, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable for little ones, these locations are a great place to start. Timetables and venue details for each suburb can be found through the official booking portal.

Registration and Participation Protocols
Ready to jump in?
Places are subject to availability, so families are encouraged to register early through the Ready Steady Go Kids website. It is the easiest way to find your nearest class, check local availability, and lock in a spot for your little mover.
If you are not quite sure yet, the Free Trial is the perfect starting point. It takes the pressure off, gives your child a chance to experience the program, and lets you see the energy, structure, and smiles for yourself.
Each session is designed to support physical development, social skills, and confidence in a safe, structured environment. Regular attendance helps children build on their skills week by week, and gives them that wonderful sense of “I can do it” that parents love to see. With low coach-to-child ratios, indoor venues, 10 different sports, and a strong focus on gross motor development, there is plenty packed into every class and plenty for parents to feel good about!
